Engine Room Doors

Engine room doors come in all sorts of sizes. We custom make these to the size and shape as required.

They are fitted to surveyed vessels and passed on a ship-by-ship basis. What this means is that your certifying engineer inspects the doors and passes them to the relevant survey that the ship's being built to. These are constructed with heavy duty ERD (Engine Room Door) handles and a solid infill consisting of a 17mm core with 1.2mm ally sheet to both sides.

They can open in or out and can have mitred or radiused corners with options being 76mm or 100mm, cut out in the vessel.

We have been known to make them shaped to follow the hull sides and give maximum opening in tight places.
